32 Degrees Carbon Fiber Paintball Barrel Review
Carbon fiber composites have amazing structural properties. In comparison to aluminum, carbon fiber composites are eight times stronger, two times stiffer, yet still 1.5 times lighter. When coupled with the proper resins, carbon fiber composites are one of the slickest, most resistant materials available. The light weight helps in balancing the gun. The barrel is stronger than aluminum barrels, and the interior of this barrel is stick free so if any paint breaks in the barrel, one squeegee pull will eliminate all left over paint. Available for the Spyder, Autococker, Automag, Angel, and the Prolite. Available in 10, 12 or 14 inch lengths. Summary: The 32 Degrees Carbon Fiber paintball barrel is accurate, pretty quiet, and most players were happy with the self-cleaning properties. Reviews When you read a barrel's reviews, patterns can be seen. The following points have been compiled from various 32 Degrees reviews. From 25 of 124 reviews: Strengths • The Carbon Fiber is accurate and quiet. • Doesn't break paintballs. • Very strong, durable, and light. • Most players thought it self cleans after about 3 shots, but a few players thought it didn't self-clean very well, and shots would curve. • $100 Weaknesses • One player had a problem with cold weather. The temperature difference between the aluminum and carbon fiber would cause the paint to break at the end of the barrel. Comments • Several players said that, while this is an awesome barrel, get a Dye Boomstick if you can afford it. Also, the Lapco Bigshots, Smart Parts Freak set, or Smart Parts Teardrop were suggested as better. • Most players liked the looks of the Carbon Fiber barrel.
