The Proto Switch EL paintball mask (EL stands for entry level) has a 1/4 turn snap lock system to keep the lense in place. Lenses can be replaced in seconds. Tiger tooth buckles secure the strap so they won't loosen during game play. Multi-directional venting. 250 degrees of vision. Comes in choice of 6 colors. From 3 reviews: Strengths • The Switch EL has a good field of vision. • This Switch is comfortable, it feels like you are not even wearing it. • It is quick and easy to remove and replace the lense of this Proto mask, and give it a good washing. • The EL is small. • The mask is cheap: $30 Weaknesses • One reported the Switch fogged up only a little; two reported that it would fog up at times, and the anti-fog could rub off. Three reported the lense on this mask could scratch easily, so read the cleaning directions. Another reported that the EL fogged up like crazy. The Switch EL does not have a thermal lense, but you can replace the lense with a thermal version. • One report that the foam that seals the face gets filled with sweat and drips down inside the lense and he couldn't see anything. • The Switch EL is made of hard plastic; it is difficult to get a bounce out of it. • One report that this Proto is a little bulky.
