Where many player reviews are digested into one |
Don't forget your paintball accessories. You can't play the game if you don't have the gear.
Paintball Accessories Bring along a spray bottle filled with water, and paper towels to clean the paint off your mask; do not assume water will be available where you play. Don't forget paintballs for your gun; fields sell them, but they can be a bit pricey. Best to stay away from the cheap paintballs; they chop easily and aren't very accurate. 500 to 1,000 paintballs should be good for four to six hours of games. For carrying extra paintballs you will need a harness and tubes. You don't want your marker to run out. Your hopper will only hold about 200 paintballs. Pods or tubes hold 100 to 180 balls. You place these in a harness that you wear around your waist. You can get harnesses that carry up to six tubes and a tank. If you break a ball in your gun's barrel, you will need a squeegee to remove the paint. You remove the barrel, then you push the squeegee through, and pull out from the other end.It would be wise to bring along a tool kit. You don't know what will happen, and you will want to be able to make repairs to your equipment. If you want to carry your tank on your belt instead of attached to your
gun, you can use a "remote". This allows for faster snap shooting. These are
available in stainless steel or coiled. Look your best with apparel made just for paintballing, including jackets, jerseys with padded elbows for those rough landings, pants with extra pockets to hold your gear, and other clothing. You can get targets, cleaning kits, carrying cases, supplies, the best accessories, and other stuff, from the merchants listed below.
